Our Mission
Strengthen Latino communities
We strengthen Latino communities by increasing Latino participation and leadership throughout the field of philanthropy and civic engagement. Motivated by the historic underfunding of Latino communities, LCCRC has designed multisite, wide-impact events to leverage resources for the benefit of emerging Latino leader and communities. LCCRC promotes stronger partnerships between organized philanthropy, civic engagement and Latino communities.
What We Do
Connect those committed to Latino communities
In recent years, LCCRC’s funding has focused on nonprofits working in the areas of education, aging, the arts, Latino men and boys, and the LGBTQ community. In 2014, LCCRC’s grantees are the backbones of their communities, providing basic services to hundreds of Latino children and families and other marginalized people across our city and county and mobilizing them to advocate on their own behalf.
